may round punches to nearest 1/4 hour, nearest 6 minutes,

You
can assign up to five shifts per employee. |
4.
Vacation, sick, holiday, and other hour types? |
Besides
regular and overtime hours Timesoft can process vacation,
sick, holiday, non-pay hours, and user defined hours. |

Can I process multiple pay periods simultaneously? |
Yes,
you can process weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, and monthly
pay periods simultaneously with Timesoft. This
eliminates the need to close one pay period to start
a new one. |

What Payroll Interfaces are Available in Timesoft? |
We
have many payroll interfaces available, some of the
most popular are ADP, Rapid Pay, PayChex, TXT, ASCII
file, and DBF file. We also have Pro Business, DataCount,
Wells Fargo, Pay USA, and QwikPay. Custom interfaces
are also available, contact Timesoft directly for information. |
7.
How can I prevent employees from abusing breaks? |
You
can prevent employees from abusing breaks by having
them punch for breaks using a function key at the clock.
You can then run exception reports and inquiries for
those employees that exceeded the allotted break time. |
8.
Can I have employees clock in/out at multiple clocks/locations? |
Yes,
you can have your employees clock in at any time clock,
or location. You may even have them clock in at one
location, and clock out at another. |

How can I prevent unauthorized overtime? |
You
can prevent unauthorized overtime by restricting employees
from clocking in early or late using the Timesoft's
lockout feature. Available in Timesoft Premier, Timesoft

Employees
can clock in/out without pressing any keys at the time
clock thanks to our simple Swipe & Go! feature.
All employees have to do is swipe their badge and go
about their business. The clock displays their
name and badge number as a confirmation. |

Can I keep records of employee's hours? |
Yes,
Timesoft has the ability to keep detail history records
of all your employees' hours for up to 99 months. History
module is user defined - you specify the number of months
to keep history. |

Can I reuse employee badges? |
Yes
you can, Timesoft tracks employees hours by employee
number, not by badge number. This allows you to re-assign
a terminated (or old) employee's badge number to another
employee, eliminating the need to constantly buy new
badges, saving you money! |
14.
How many time clocks can I connect locally? |
Timesoft
allows you to connect up to 32 time clocks directly
to your computer and they can be as far as 4000 feet. |
15.
How many time clocks can I connect remotely? |
As
many as you need, there are no limits! |
16.
What will happen to punches if there is a power failure? |
If
there is a power failure or the unit is turned off
the punches WILL REMAIN in your time clocks memory.
ALL Timesoft units come standard with a lithium battery
that allows punches to be stored in memory during
down time. |
17.
Special overtime? |
Among
daily and weekly overtime calculation Timesoft can
also calculate overtime for specific days of the week
and for holidays.
This
special overtime capability allows you to define special
overtime policies such as paying overtime (or double
time) on Sunday or on a holiday regardless of how
many hours have been worked that week. |
